SPIN2030

On 8 and 9 March, the Barkhausen Institut took part in the Science Festival 2024 SPIN 2030 at the Technische Sammlungen Dresden with the robotic airhockey table and the “Escape Room with Dr Data” workshop.

At the airhockey table, visitors could try out how different mobile phone standards affect the reaction time of robots. In the BI Learning Lab's data security escape room, participants had to solve all the puzzles and use the right decryption techniques to escape.

In addition, Tim Hentschel, Managing Director at BI, discussed the topic “About innovations and inspirations” with Saxony's Science Minister Sebastian Gemkow and Dorit Teichmann, Innovation Manager at the Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf, in the podcast “YOU ASK we explain” part of the Spin 2030 science festival “Research at the interface between science and society”.

Over 50 scientific institutions from all over Saxony were part of the event with exciting workshops, interactive exhibits and impressive experiment shows.
