Workshops “Wie viel Energie verbraucht das Internet?”
From February to December 2025, a total of six workshops entitled “Wie viel Energie verbraucht das Internet?” were held, with overall 153 girls and boys taking part from grade 9 onwards.
Over the course of 90 minutes, participants explored how the internet works in a playful, hands-on way and discussed the current state of knowledge. Key questions included “How much energy does the internet use?”, “Why does the internet consume energy?”, and “How could the energy balance be improved in the future?”.
