Girls’ Day Academie (Escape Room mit Dr. Data, Internet und Energie)
On 10 and 15 January 2024, two events took place at the Barkhausen Institut as part of the Girls' Day Academy: At the “Escape Room with Dr Data” workshop, a total of 28 participants were able to expand their knowledge of data protection, and at the ‘Internet and Energy’ workshop, they could learn more about how the internet works and facts about energy consumption.
Girls’ Day Academy gives schoolgirls in grades 7 to 9 the opportunity to get to know modern technology and familiarize themselves with scientific content in practice during the career orientation phase. Every week for one school year, they visited various educational partners to discover the wide range of careers in the STEM sector.
