Barkhausen Institut at Embedded World 2025

The Barkhausen Institut was represented at the Embedded World trade fair in Nuremberg from March 11 to 13, 2025, under the guiding theme “Trustworthiness for a Connected World.” The institute’s exhibition showcased innovative approaches to secure connectivity in industrial applications. Two main thematic areas were presented:

• M³ is a modular and secure operating system for networked devices. By isolating individual components, M³ prevents potential attacks and minimizes damage in the event of a failure.
• RIOT is a free, open-source operating system supporting low-power IoT devices and open standards for secure, privacy-friendly networking.
