Dresden Science Night
At this year’s Dresden Science Night on June 20, 2025, the Barkhausen Institut welcomed more than 1,100 visitors to its diverse and interactive program at the COSMO Science Forum as well as to a public lecture by Dr.-Ing. Michael Roitzsch, Head of the Composable Operating Systems Research Group, on “Big Data, Cloud, AI – What Is It All About?” at TU Dresden.
A particular highlight was our interactive exhibit on connected medical technology. Visitors were able to simulate the data flow between a pacemaker and the cloud, engage playfully with questions of data protection and security, and share their opinions via a digital mood barometer.
