Dresden Science Night

On 30 June 2023, the COSMO Science Forum welcomed around 60 visitors to the 20th Dresden Science Night from 5 pm with the motto “Smart until midnight!”. 

The event offered a wide-ranging program of lectures and various exhibits on current research topics. Visitors were able to familiarize themselves with the mobility concepts of the future using VR glasses or experience the watering robot which should make the work of the garden specialists in Pillnitz Palace Park easier in the future. 

Children and young people had the opportunity to make their own wax crayons or give commands to a robot arm in the BI programming workshop. There was also the opportunity to take part in the escape room on the subject of encrypting digital information.

BI scientist and group leader Dr Michael Roitzsch gave a lecture on the topic of “Cryptocurrencies and blockchains” on the Red Stage in the foyer of the Kulturpalast.
