Can medical devices be trusted?
On 26 November 2024, the Barkhausen Institut hosted the discussion “Can networked medical devices be trusted?” at the COSMO Science Forum. Dr. Mattis Hasler, scientist in the Scalable Computing Hardware group, spoke about the opportunities and challenges of these technologies.
Participants were also able to test the prototype of a secure platform for medical devices in order to provide feedback for its further development. The event was aimed, in particular, at doctors, medical students and anyone interested in research and digital technologies.
