6G-Summit

The 6G Summit took place from 9 to 10 May 2023 at Messe Dresden.

Scientists from the Barkhausen Institut took part with two interactive exhibits:

• The first exhibit showed a wireless communication system that enables reliable firmware and software updates without reboots.
• The second interactive setup identified the presence of objects in the communication path while simultaneously communicating with a remote device.

The 6G Summit at the Dresden Communications Festival was a great success with a total of 605 participants and 30 exhibition stands.

The IEEE 6G Summit in Dresden is a key conference on the development of the next generation of mobile communications, 6G. It is aimed at industry leaders, academic pioneers, technology enthusiasts and start-ups from the 5G/6G sector. The conference offers a platform for the international exchange of experts, the presentation of current research results and the discussion of challenges in the industry.
