2,630 Visitors: “Mensch, Roboter!” Exhibition at COSMO Science Forum Concludes

After five months, the exhibition “Mensch, Roboter!” at the COSMO Science Forum has come to an end.

From October 2025 to February 2026, it invited visitors to explore current robotics research from Dresden. The exhibition was organized by the Barkhausen Institut.

In total, 2,630 visitors explored robots and interactive stations and had the opportunity to talk with researchers. The exhibition featured exhibits from nine partner institutions, including seven contributions from the Barkhausen Institut.

The exhibition was accompanied by a public program including 16 guided tours on request, 14 short walk-in tours, and seven events offering additional insights into robotics research and its applications.

“My special thanks go to the Dresden research institutions that contributed their prototypes, demonstrators, and expertise and worked with us to translate them into interactive exhibits. I would also like to thank the exhibition team, the technical partners, and all visitors whose questions and perspectives shaped the exhibition.”
— Tiphaine Cattiau, Exhibition Project Manager

“Mensch, Roboter!” highlighted the many ways robotics is already shaping our world today and raised questions about technology, society, and trust in digital systems.
