DRESDEN-concept Science Exhibition
Climate change, pandemics, and questions of mobility will pose major challenges in the future. A fascinating science exhibition in front of Dresden’s Kulturpalast presents the solutions that research projects and innovations from Dresden offer to society. On the occasion of its 10th anniversary, the research alliance DRESDEN-concept showcases how scientists from Dresden aim to shape our everyday lives.
In the research areas of digitalization, life, climate & water, mobility, materials, and cultural heritage, vivid examples provide insights into the work of local research and cultural institutions. By integrating interactive and playful elements, the exhibition invites visitors of all ages to explore the world of science and to reflect on how we want to live in the future.
Through the collaboration of the 32 DRESDEN-concept partners – including the Barkhausen Institute – a multifaceted and engaging exhibition has been created. It will be on display in front of the Kulturpalast Dresden until October 31, 2020, and is expected to be shown later at the Technische Sammlungen Dresden.
