Hermes Py Mobility Release
With our latest release of HermesPy, devices may be assigned arbitrary trajectories in spatially consistent channel models and the set of available waveform implementations is expanded by OFDM-Radar, OCDM and OTFS.
What features did we add?
Major Features
- Ability to define the movement paths of wireless devices
- Consistent random number generation for all statistical channel models
- Calculations for the precise positioning of individual antennas within arrays
- New type of communication called Orthogonal Chirp Division Multiplexing (OCDM)
- New type of communication called Orthogonal Time Frequency Space (OTFS)
- Radar signal processing using a method called Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM)
- Ability to update diagrams in real-time
- Use of multiple processors for better performance
- Support for different definitions of receiver noise
- Global timestamps in distributed simulation campaigns
Minor Features
- Mirroring of the Barkhausen Institute's development git repository to GitHub
- Implementation of Cluster Delay Line (CDL) templates according to 3GPP TR 138901 v17
- Introduction of inheritance diagrams in the API documentation
- Inclusion of memory and CPU time profiling
