On May 12, 2022, the 7th IEEE 5G++ Summit Dresden will take place at Messe Dresden under the motto ”Towards 6G.” The Barkhausen Institut will also run a booth at the associated exhibition and present the following demonstrators on our latest research:
"Towards a Trustworthy Internet of Things with Remote Attestation"
It will be shown how an IoT device establishes a communication link to a cloud server to report sensor data. A choice can be made between standard encryption and encryption using remote attestation.
"A flexible experimental mmWave setup for communications and sensing"
A waveform is generated in the mmWave frequency range (75GHz, 2GHz bandwidth) that can be used to simultaneously communicate and sense its environment (Joint Communication and Sensing).
IEEE 5G++ Summit Dresden has become a prominent annual fixture on the road to 6G. The conference brings together industry leaders, innovators, and researchers from industry and academia to exchange ideas that will help drive standards and rapid deployment of 5G++ technologies. The IEEE 5G++ Summit Dresden takes a holistic approach to 5G++ system design, ranging from silicon hardware, wireless interfaces, networks, edge clouds all the way up to Tactile Internet applications.
